Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each lighting—this helps your candle burn evenly and prevents soot from forming on the glass.
Allow a full melt pool during the first burn by letting the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar (usually 2-3 hours). This prevents tunneling and ensures you'll enjoy every hour of that 50-60 hour burn time.
Keep the wax pool clear by gently removing any wick trimmings or debris before lighting. A clean surface means a cleaner, more consistent burn.
